How long does sod installation take?
Most residential lawns are completed in a single day. We arrive in the morning, remove the old lawn, prep the soil, lay the sod, and you have a new lawn by the evening. Larger properties may take two days.
What type of sod do you install?
We install premium Kentucky Bluegrass, which is the best variety for Ontario’s climate. It’s cold-hardy, drought-resistant once established, self-repairing, and creates a thick, dark green lawn.
When is the best time to install sod?
Sod can be installed from April through November in Ontario. The best times are spring (April-June) and fall (September-October) when temperatures are moderate. Summer installations work well too with proper watering.
Do you remove the old lawn?
Yes. Old lawn removal is included in every project. We use professional sod cutters to strip your existing grass, weeds, and debris. Everything is hauled away — your property stays clean.
Is topsoil included?
Yes. Every installation includes fresh topsoil and professional grading for proper drainage. Good soil preparation is the most important factor in long-term lawn health.
How much does sod installation cost?

How do I care for new sod?
Water 2-3 times daily for the first two weeks, then reduce to once daily, then 2-3 times per week after a month. Wait 2-3 weeks before mowing. We provide detailed aftercare instructions with every installation.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We stand behind every installation. If you follow the aftercare instructions and your sod doesn’t take root, we come back and make it right.
